Philosophy

Ed believes, "There's more to net worth than investments and true wealth management must consider tax efficiency, preservation of assets and the sensible use of debt. Too often portfolio construction happens outside the broader context of other assets, business risk, estate planning and wealth preservation. My partners and I develop clear, comprehensive programs for individuals and families. We are trusted strategists, central to the development of their wealth."

“Business owners are the pure athletes of the business world. Many of our clients build substantial value in their ventures without being deliberate about succession planning or considering how their wealth outside their companies should be coordinated. Many also need to implement a sound asset preservation strategy to insulate their personal wealth from their businesses. They want a plan to leave as much as possible to the next generation, and not to Uncle Sam. They want to educate their children on how to handle financial affairs. Despite their desire to take care of these matters, many business owners put them off due to their workloads. Our job is to act like personal trainers, helping to set priorities, working to develop the optimal plan and following through to ensure that our clients get these things done.”
